IMAGINE yourself in your space that you want to change and renovate. This space is a blank slate and we will create it from concept to completion and your entire new look, new design, and new functionality. We can do it and it all starts here.
As the old saying goes “ you get what you pay for” in this industry. Cheap will only result in headaches and failed and uncompleted projects. We pride ourselves in helping our customers no matter how big or small the project is. We will try very hard to meet the clients's expectations, needs, and most importantly budget.
We have remodeled the process of how we go through the engagement process. Highlighting time management, our engagement process is very streamlined meeting the clients needs. We want to emphasize the importance of our customer’s experience and lives – and our duty to them as we guide them through their project transformation. We put in extra effort, so every customers experience is more convenient and less overwhelming. We do everything possible to anticipate needs, eliminate barriers, and bring customer’s into the process by gaining the joy of reimagining their space through participation and collaboration with your interior designer. We have reimagined remodeling by creating a process that is both simple and personal, but most importantly you as a client can get comfortable around your end result.
Initial consult – Our initial consult is free. Think of this consult as our preliminary interview process with each other. So that you are comfortable with us and moving forward with the process. The initial consult will be held with one of our expert interior designers virtually either through skype, facetime, or by phone. The duration of this consult will last roughly 1 hour. During this consult you will get to learn more about us, our business, how we deliver home improvement projects, and interface with you throughout the process. Most importantly during this consult, we will discuss your upcoming project in full details. Getting the full visual and scope of the project and asking additional questions about the overall changes and expectations. We will discuss how the project will flow, how many days it would take us to complete, your time frame to do the project, and your budget you want to maintain after hearing about the project. We will then put together a preliminary number range for your project and timeline based on what we have discussed. All of this will allow you to make your decision if you want to move forward with us and the process. You will have the ability to ask any questions or concerns you may have about our operations or your upcoming project. To do this consult we ask you to send us the following:
Prior to your scheduled consult we will need you to email us or text us the following items for our review and preparation. We will need this a few days prior to allow adequate time to review all, prior to your scheduled appointment.
1. Take pictures. Starting at the entrance of your space, take pictures of all angles of the space so that we can see everything. Trying to capture the current situation of the space.
2. Take Video/Videos. Starting at the entrance of your space, do a video or multiple videos with your phone taking us on a tour of the entire space we will be working with. Making sure to show us all aspects of the space - walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, tubs, showers, electric, plumbing, and the entire space. To make things easier, talk with us on the video, sharing with us information and changes you would like to make.
Site/Home Consult – The site/home consult is our in home or in field consult meeting. Think of this consult visit as a initial planning meeting. This consult will be held with one of our expert interior designers in person at your site or home where the future project will be conducted. The duration of this consult will last roughly 1-2 hours depending on questions. During this consult you will get to learn more about us and we will prepare and plan for your future project. We will see the space we will be working with, educate you on the changes you want to make, bring up new and fresh ideas so you are sure of the direction you want to go in, measure and assess the entire space, discuss the design changes, discuss functionality of the future space, start creation of the new space and design of it, discuss future colors and imagine of the new space, and start the design and décor process with you.
The site/home consultation fee is a $300.00 non-refundable retainer that would be refunded only if you proceed in doing the project with us. The retainer will be collected at the start of the consult. The site/home consult will be based on the price range we set out forth in the initial consult.
Design/Decor Consult - The Design/Decor consult is our selection and review planning meeting. Think of this meeting as where the beauty and fun begins and where the concept begins to illuminate. Where the light bulb goes off and we come full circle with your future project. This consult will be held with one of our expert interior designers in person at a showroom location. The duration of this consult will last roughly 3-5 hours depending on questions, scope of the project, and how much selection we need to complete. During this consult we will review and discuss any final changes to the project, review the final design and scope of the project, and make all material selections for the future project. This consult is for a 1 time meeting and if we have to have additional design/decor meetings it would be additional. If we have selected items for a client and brought them to their house instead of a showroom, this would also constitute as the same type of appointment.
The Design/Decor consult fee is a $300.00 non-refundable retainer that would be refunded only if you proceed in doing the project with us. The retainer will be collected at the start of the consult meeting. The design/decor consult will be based on the price range we set out forth in the initial consult. This can change with any added work to the scope or the material selections that you picked were higher than the allocation.
Proposal Preparation Consult – The Proposal Preparation Consult is when we behind the scenes prepare all the legal documents of the proposal/contract. Think of this consult as where all the previous consults come together and form the documents. The proposal preparation is done by one of our expert interior designers. This will not be a meeting with you but time spent behind the scenes creating your specific scope and final detail. Typically, there is not client involvement in this process unless we have additional questions to clarify our final preparation. The proposal preparation usually takes us roughly 1—2 1/2 weeks to create, depending on how big and detailed the scope of your project. During this time the interior designer will take all the previous notes, measurements, pictures, final material selections, and final work scope and type up your detailed proposal. The proposal will consist of all our credentials, client information, detailed work description section and materials we will provide, designs and layouts, material lists, photos of materials selected, care instructions, warranty information, total price, and full breakdown of payment schedule. The proposal will be a 1-time draft of the proposal. If changes are needed to be made, and we have to redo the proposal, additional fees will be applied.
The Proposal preparation fee is a $500.00 and is a non-refundable retainer that would be refunded only if you proceed in doing the project with us. The retainer will be collected prior to starting the preparation process. The proposal preparation will be based on the price range we set out forth in the initial consult or any changes along the way.
Proposal Preparation/Closing Consult – The Proposal Preparation/Closing Consult is our final meeting to review the proposal we have prepared for your specific project. Think of this consult as the closing meeting, the exciting end to the concept, and the brighter future ahead on your completed project. This consult will be held with one of our expert interior designers in person at your site or home where the future project will be conducted. The duration of this consult will last roughly 4-5 hours depending on questions. During this meeting we will provide you a copy of the detailed proposal that we have put together for you. Together we will review it, line item by line item, to ensure that you have complete understanding of your detailed proposal. During the consult we will be able to answer any questions and concerns about the project. Once we complete reviewing the proposal, if you would like to close on the project and move forward. We would sign all the documents and collect our first deposit on the project. Crediting back all the retainers you have given during the engagement process. To ensure that all the designs fit and work, we would do all of our final measurements, and assessments prior to proceeding to order materials. We would then abide by the 3 – Day recession timeline for your project and proceed with depositing funds and ordering materials once we have abided the recession timeline.
(Optional) Design 3-D CAD rendering/space planning consult– Everyone’s visualization is different. Everyone’s engagement process with us can be different. And some clients are further along in the process when we meet them than others. If you just need a design of your space or you want to see the design prior to moving onto the next steps of the engagement process. We can do a full-blown design to show you the space change. You would have 2 options to choose from: One a 3-D CAD software design on a computer or hand drawn version which is much less. The design would be completed by one of our expert interior designers and would consist of 1 rendering. Any additional renderings or changes would be additional time and assessed accordingly.
Design 3-D CAD rendering/space planning consult depends on the amount of time needed to do the design, what all you would want included in the design, and what version of the design is chosen.
